Intelligent Healthcare in Wujin District, Changzhou City

On May 10^th, Wujin District, Changzhou City Bureau of Statistics, and JUDcare reached a strategic cooperation, the official signing of the city's intelligent medical projects. At the signing ceremony, Vice Minister Zhang Xiaohu of Wujin District People’s Government was the witness. Mr. Zhao Zhiqiang, the general manager of JUDcare, and Wang Hongxin, director of Wujin District Bureau of Wealth Planning, jointly signed the “Framework Cooperation Agreement on intelligent Healthcare” in Wujin District. Both sides will cooperate sincerely in building a patient-centered regional medical association. Leaders and representatives of relevant departments also attended the ceremony.

Deputy Governor Zhang Xiaohu of Wujin District People’s Government made a speech at the meeting, fully affirmed the importance of this cooperation with JUDcare. Wujin is the vanguard of the reform of the medical and health system. The construction of urban intelligent medical projects can promote interoperability of medical resources, also it is conducive to the upgrade of medical service mode.

At the meeting, Wang Hongxin, director of Weijian District Statistics Bureau, affirmed the positive effect of intelligent medical projects. He also pointed out that this project can promote Wujin District to substantially raise the level of medical service. More than 1 million people in the region will benefit from this.

In addition, Dai Fuchun, deputy director of Wujin District Bureau of Weikai, made a detailed introduction to the project profile and vigorously evaluated the necessity of intelligent healthcare projects for urban construction. The project will support Wujin District to further optimize the medical and health resources at all levels and provide a guarantee for the interconnection and interoperability of more than 300 medical and health institutions in the region. It is understood that this cooperation responds to the national guidelines of “Healthy China” and “National Big Data Strategy” and seeks to achieve interconnection of medical, healthcare, and pharmaceutical in order to reach the goal of a healthy China and healthy Wujin plan.

The contents of this intelligent medical project mainly include the construction of a regional self-service cloud service platform, smart medical and health information platform, chronic disease management platform, and resident health card application.

1) Regional self-service cloud service platforms can provide patients with self-service non-medical services in the hospital, greatly enhance efficiency.

2) Smart medical and health information platform facilitates the regional medical information exchange, medical treatment becomes more convenient and efficient for patients.

3) Chronic disease management platform integrates intelligent terminal equipment, connecting hospitals, community health centers, patients, and their families to provide comprehensive care for patients.

With the universal medical service system becoming the focus of all levels of government, Wujin District People's Government is making every effort to build a healthcare system that benefits every resident. At the same time, continuing to optimize the hospital treatment and inspection process to help create a digital, informative, and self-help medical service environment.
